so if you are following me on newgrounds, then you might expect a SHITLOAD of notifications (im so sorry i have 1 movie to release for yall then ill chill out), and three of them is art about this character named sam. who is sam? well ill explain it in this post because this character is actually really interesting and is believed to be my first ever character i made

so the story goes back to 2013, it might not be the exact year but i believe this is the year i first drew this character. basically theres this comic i still have to this day (not with me though, i dont know where its currently at but i know its somewhere). the comic was about a gray yorkshire dog named sam. the comic itself didnt have any plot as far as i remember due to me having an undeveloped brain which has the size of a walnut

the comic went as far as to early 2014, it seemed to continue so it didnt have a different scenario each page. it was a simple fun drawing session for younger me. i will have to say this now, but sam was actually male in this series, keep that in mind for now.

the comic was based off a plush i still have since 2009, gray yorkshire dog, of course. i thought it would be fun to create a silly drawing based off that so here we are (in 2014, that is)

or are we..? well its 2016 now, and no pages were made ever since meaning the comic is long forgotten about but i decided to use the sam character again, several changes were made though. the name change to "sam" (i dont remember the old one, i'd have to look into the 2014 comics), and the gender change.

this version could be seen in my 2016 minecraft builds, some drawings (lost by now), and later a youtube series running from 2020-2022/2023 about this whole entire world me (and my friend too) made (i also made a few characters alongside sam too, but sam is the most important here)

after the cancellation of the youtube series, sam was no longer used. no drawings, no appearances in internet media, pure nothing. until september this year where i thought on bringing her back so i thought on her design for a week and eventually came up with what you see in the link above! i decided to put out the SAM album on halloween as a halloween special as voidrejects didnt seem for a fitting halloween special and i wanted to hit you guys with lots of new stuff at the end of october!

back to the topic of new sam, she was changed only slightly (personality and design). i just wanna say this now, but i dont intend on making her a character in my animation, but i was aiming more for a second main character in solarform, so you dont have to see solarform dying in the most gruesome ways possible. so.. basically saying, sam is only a character in solarform, and thats it unless i change my mind
