I saw the obituaries about glaceon and yea I realized you are too kindhearted about those low effort videos that got blammed. I even checked your reviews that you spared one video that got passed with a score of 2.02 but went up to 2.16. Maybe sometimes you find crappy videos more entertaining than mines while I see them as useless. Either way, I seen people who tend to spare more garbage animation such as goldenweaveanimation, he tend to rate high score depending of how good the animation it is compared to his animation and yea most of the animation he rate 5 passed. its not really that i find crappy videos more entertaining, because thats kind of insulting but its more of a "im gonna be less aggressive about this and help them improve" situation of some sorts (i guess you could say im sparing them from time to time)

I’m an opposite blammer I enjoy bad animations at times because there funny but I still give tips at helping them out!

(Sorry for the belated reply. I made myself a bookmark to reply to this one and then "life happened".)
I agree with you that aiming to remove as many submissions as possible from the portal is not only extremely demotivating to aspiring artists but also _needlessly_ aggressive.
However... Back when dragons ruled the twilight sky and the stars were bright and numerous, I went above and beyond to help game developers on Newgrounds to fix bugs in their games, point out broken medals, point out sections that did "probably not work as intended", and adhered to high standards for my reviews. I'd say that I got a reply to my PMs about 1 time out of 10. Of those replies, the split was pretty much even between the following types of replies:
A) "I'll look into it" (never updated the game)
B) "Thank you so much. Please follow me!" (never updated the game)
C) "F*** OFF! You never made a game!" (Got a link to a game I published. Claimed it didn't work. Never responded when asked if they read the manual.)
D) "I think I have fixed it. Could you play the entire game for me please, to see if it worked?" (In the beginning, I actually did that, because I 'wanted to help...')
To summarize: All the time and energy invested into 100 PMs (or sometimes reviews) did bear fruit 2 or 3 times out of a hundred. Equal to the number of times I was verbally abused, or had other "pleasant things" happen.
There 'were' outliers, but that was more like a '1 in a 1,000'-situation. I'm still happy for the times I managed to help developers, but I would not want to repeat that chapter of my life again. More often than not "Please give me feedback! *Smiley Face*" translates to "Tell me my art is perfect!!" or "Rate this higher because "I care" and "engage" with my stuff for the algorithm" - even though there _is_ no algorithm. Extra points if their profile looks as if it was created 2 days ago.
Nowadays, I give feedback at most once a month, but if we're being honest, most of the stuff amateurs could point out is exactly the same stuff that they would know if they had watched a few tutorials.
Which is exactly the reason why I switched from writing personalized letters to collecting competently done tutorials and advertising them.

You check my profile? The tutorials are the first link. Followed by my FAQ and other helpful links. I'm practically wearing helpful links like a pretty dress. ;)
I 'do' still help out; I just changed my approach.
But I also have an acute awareness that our community has extremely low standards. If something actually gets blammed, tends to have been either lazy or it got blammed before the moderation team could get to it (for breaking one of the rules)...
'Taste is subjective.' I will not tell you that "you feel the wrong way" for liking submissions that I would rate with 0 stars. I spent a lot of time in the Under Judgement sections and I have seen the same things you (presumably) like. And my personal impression is that nobody would intentionally look those "works of amateur art" out by their own volition. And those who 'would' have no way of 'actually finding' those works, because they use neither descriptions nor tags. ;)
Newgrounds already allows almost anything to be hosted. But most of it just "rots" on the servers. Unseen. Unappreciated.
I am often 'too honest' and this is one of those times: I do _not_ feel for them 'at all'. The can improve upon their work and resubmit at a later date. They could look up good guides and other resources or ask for directions to them in the forums... 'But they usually don't.' And that is not my personal responsibility - no matter how many times I voted 0 stars on their stuff.
But in stark contrast, I feel for 'you', solarfiction. From what you wrote in the comments, you might feel more passionate about some of those pieces that their creators.
My advice to you would be to make playlists for underappreciated works that you liked to help them being seen. As Newgrounds puts it "It might be the start of a beautiful friendship." :)

Some things that were true about me way back when are still true about me now: I do not care for publicity. Besides: It's not as if others could see the path of blams and saves one leaves behind, so I wouldn't be worth much as a point of reference as I do not talk about this topic that often. Most in the time it's probably in a comment section, that's hard to find and/or awkward to link to.
You make it clear from context that you don't think that 'everybody' who has a hand in sending UJ submissions to the Obituaries is a bad person/harms NG so I think the post is fine as it is.

heres the thing, no. i generally am a person that doesnt care about anything, not even any shit thats said about me behind my back. i doubt id care for B/P points because like i keep saying; "theyre nothing but brownie points!" and thats really.. true. i dont care about how many blams or saves i have, i would only really care about how the little icon looks near them (its cool or as some people say it, c00l)
people who actually take this shit seriously are generationally known as "stat whores" and its always been like that (https://newgrounds.fandom.com/wiki/Stat_whore). the only thing i really take seriously about the blamming is "how should i review this fairly so the creator receives feedback on how to improve?" and thats my only thought process that goes behind it. im not a stat whore, and i dont plan on being one.. for a long time atleast
also now that youre here, id like to point out that "being a stat whore" is not your only flaw. one thing i noticed is that you are one of the people that pass any simoes video just because youre his "friend" of some sorts while you blam (in my opinion) videos with higher quality or the same quality as a regular simoes video. why? you dont need to explain yourself, but i feel like you should stop it because idk if you heard but simoes1000 got absolutely shutdown by pyxron after he made a response under his post saying "we bad-mouth him" and proceeded to delete his post and replies relating to the incident, which makes convinced he didnt learn. one thing pyxron pointed out is that he got way too spoiled with whoever's reviewing him (which you would fit in that category), and tell me now
is the job of a "blammer" to secure the site, or is it to be biased against certain videos?
the third (final) flaw i would like to point out is; youre nearly everywhere where poligeektoons is. i dont know if you guys have a group chat together or some contact or whatever the H, but if you really are blamming videos by looking through his reviews, then youre a "no good B/P farmer, gaddammit!"
