NEWGROUNDS VS A.I

a topic that will be repeated over and over if you dont stop uploading crap made by robots, dammit!

i have returned from my mom's basement to discuss a rather silly topic today.. as everyone's aw are, AI is getting more advanced day by day, it can help you with your homework, make up stories, create music, talk to you, it can do literally anything by this point. now th ats scary, because i dont wanna throw hands with these metallic motherfucke rs when im 30, and neither do you, so let me show you what im talking about!

THE OFFENDER AND THE OFFENSE

the scary villai n in this story is none other than @ArmenteroStudios, who has committed the offense of uploading A.I slop, and if you arent aware somehow; that is the worst sin you can ever do on [NEWGROUNDS] (rightfully so)

as of me writing this (before they get their balls cut off), they have 3 fans, 1 news post, 2 movies, 62 faves and 24 reviews

it seems like they were a regular person, just scrolling through the 'grounds, you can tell by their reviews, what kind of person they were. a person who likes to watch videos, and a person whos not afraid to analyze the entire movie and review it afterwards, whilst giving feedback

(by the way, in the screenshot under "dumb apple cartoon", i think that shits just uncalled for. the original movie is E-rated and its just about some kid with his mom in the grocery store. fun stuff, made by RWappin)

however, yesterday, on the 24th, the person behind the account uploaded 2 videos, clearly made by AI. one was uploaded at 8:40 PM EDT, and the othe r one (in meh screenie) was uploaded at 8:56 PM EDT

luckily, everybody caught on this was some obv ious AI bullshit, so nobody was happy in the reviews. one weird phenomenon i noticed, is that the dude "writes" completely different to these reviews. why? because theyre AI, thats obvious as fuc k

...he makes weird exceptions to people like @BlakeTakesCake though

EGB, also known as elite guard barracks is a type of crew that takes care of this crap rather easily. about 3 hours ago as of me writing this, @HerrGammelig made a reply reporting this issue (rightfully so), getting everybody in the crew's attention

(also watching from the logs, he uploaded FOUR videos, not two. but you get our point here)

REACTIONS AND AFTERMATH (NSC, NEWGROUNDS SECURITY CREW)

NSC, also known as newgrounds security crew is a crew aiming to promote positive feedback, protecting the community, etc. but as the official site states, "they specialize in securing the portal"

now, i have joined the NSC and served there since the very creation of the crew, i became the first vice-president of it. me seeing this would obviously alert the others in the crew, which is something i did just now. and so i posted it in our thread / news post

@Pyxron (current president of the N.S.C) was notified of this, as i informed him about it privately, he said the following :

"I see. This is definitely a problem, I'll make sure to help and alert the others about this. We're Newgrounds, we DO NOT allow this on the site."

well said. users like dacy were also made aware, so theyre gonna help in aswell

my personal thoughts on AI

in my personal opinion, generated content created by artificial intelligence is a one-way ticket to rot the world of animation, art, music that everybody has participated in growing. what matters about a creation is the amount of effort put into it, the blood, the pain. it doesnt the hurt AI to do this, it can vomit out a hundred of these videos in a milisecond. we need to realize that this can be a huge problem. for all of us
